Why are the stock quotes delayed and my trades executed in real-time?

Quotes are delayed at least 15 minutes, but execution of trades occur in real-time based on real-time market prices when placed during market open hours.

Quotes are delayed at least 15 minutes, but execution of trades occur in real-time based on real-time market prices when placed during market open hours.
